The online community directory is service provided by the Northern Midlands Council to enable residents to connect with local groups, clubs, arts and cultural groups and community organisations within the Northern Midlands municipality.  The Community Directory will provide local community groups, clubs, and eligible community-based organisations and arts and cultural groups with a free directory listing and is hosted by the Northern Midlands Business Association. For the purposes of these terms and conditions the administrator is deemed to be Northern Midlands Council.

To be eligible for the community directory and to be assessed for potential inclusion into the community directory, your group must:

• Be based within the Northern Midlands local government area or be accessible to Northern Midlands residents

• Be a community-based group OR not-for-profit organisation.

The Community Directory will not list for-profit services, commercial business listings or political organisations. Exceptions may be considered upon Council sole discretion.

Only legitimate groups, clubs and organisations whose activities are deemed non-discriminatory and lawful community-based groups or not-for-profit organisations within Northern Midlands will be considered. Council has the sole and absolute discretion to decide whether an organisation’s profile is listed. Only one entry per group/organisation is accepted by Council. It is the listed group’s responsibility to regularly check their listings details to ensure the details are up-to-date and true and correct. Council will not accept responsibility or liability for any errors.

Any illegal use of material created for publication on the platform which breaches any law or regulation in force in Australia is prohibited.
